DANDENONG DISTRICTS CRICKET UMPIRES ASSOCIATION
Umpires News and Information – 2019/2020 season
The Dandenong Districts Cricket Umpires’ Association (DDCUA) is based at Shepley Oval, Pultney Street, Dandenong.
Each season a pool of around 55 umpires is needed to provide for the seven Turf Grades in the DDCA Competition.
The DDCUA provides the necessary uniforms and equipment, plus training and support. Umpires meet fortnightly throughout the season for group training and appointments, in a great social atmosphere.
Most games are played from 1.00pm to around 6.30 pm on Saturdays, with some Sunday fixtures and occasional midweek Twenty20 and junior carnival games also. The competition stretches from Berwick and Cranbourne across to some bayside areas, including Mordialloc.
